IE wins the MERLOT Award for Exemplary Online Learning Resources with the teaching note of the multimedia case Accountsville. The teaching note was prepared for the area of Accounting and Control by professor Lucia Egea, in collaboration with the Department of Multimedia and Learning Innovation Content Development.
IE Business School was the first European institution to form part of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, an organisation that recognises top business students enrolled in programmes accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
Mark Peinhopf, Matteo Perondi, Joseph Berlino and Mario del Duca, all students of IE's International MBA program, were finalists in Cerebration 2010, a competition organized by the National University of Singapore to foster the international expansion of Singaporean firms. The students presented a development plan for Vestas, a wind energy firm, beating 500 other teams to become finalists.
