One second and nothing around you is the same anymore. Unpredictable events, global consequences and a shared challenge: to always go further. In the world we live in today, professionals develop their careers in this dynamic and fast-paced environment, in a connected world that changes from one moment to the next.

Organizations demand leaders who can adapt to these unforeseeable changes and events, and propose new and result driven ideas. The Global MBA+ provides an answer to these challenges and offers an innovative program in content, format and structure through numerous program customization options that enrich students' experiences, support their career development and personal circumstances all at once.

The program consists of 2 parts: a Core Period and a +Module, which have a total duration from 13 to 15 months (depending on the chosen combination) and allow students to switch between formats (Face-to-face or Blended) and languages ​​(English or Spanish) and choose between different modules of specialized content.

The Global MBA+ is aimed at high potential young professionals, with an average of 4.5 years of experience and an average age of 29, who have successfully completed IE’s rigorous admission process.

  • Core Period

    The Core Period covers all the fundamental topics of a top MBA with a global perspective and from the viewpoint of different stakeholders. It can be done either in English or in Spanish, under 3 different formats: Face-to-face weekly, Blended or Blended Squared.

    It lasts 8 to 9 months and roughly corresponds to 2/3 of the total program length.

    Module

    The +Module allows students to either keep studying along the lines of general business topics through +Global Management, or gain more in-depth knowledge in their area of ​​interest through the selection of one of the offered possibilities.

    Lasting between 4 to 6 months, each +Module roughly corresponds to 1/3 of the total program length.

Language

You can carry out your Core Period in English and then change to Spanish or vice-versa.

Format

You can choose to complete the Core Period in the face-to-face format and then change when you start the +Module. Alternatively, you can also choose the other way around.

  • Blended
    Combines face-to-face and online interactive periods (through live videoconference sessions and discussion forums), in a timetable compatible with your professional activity.
  • Blended Squared
    2 days face-to-face periods every 6th weekend in Madrid combined with Online interactive periods.
  • Face-to-face, weekly
    Classes every week-end, offered in a timetable compatible with your professional activity.

The +Modules offer you the possibility to focus on one area, be it Global Management in the continuity of the Core Period, a specific function within the company or an industry.
