BackMadrid Global Chair on International Urban Strategy
The Madrid Global Chair on International Urban Strategy is a joint initiative between Madrid City Government and IE Business School. Its objectives are:
- Research, training, creation and dissemination of knowledge, and organization and cooperation with forums to exchange experiences on international urban strategies, with a secial focus on the city of Madrid.
- Bringing together knowledge about the economic and management dimensions of cities’ international strategies.
- Acting as a lab where the research agenda for this issue is drafted, and as a think tank, anticipating future trends. The Chair has been accepted as a member of the Spanish Committee of UN-Habitat.
