BackCash Management Chair
Cash Management is an area of special importance in the business management, for the economic significance and for the different interests that come together in the same one. Different departments like purchasing, commercial and production are involved, besides the financial department. The great quantity of conflicting interests and the difficulty of homogenizing policies of management among the different departments do that the cash management incorporate so financial aspects as of the rest of the areas, what supposes a great difficulty to establish techniques of management and even criteria of action before the problematic that can be produced.
IE Business School has started Cash Management's Chair, which includes cash management, credit management and debit management, arises intended to deepen in the managerial practice and to consolidate the cash management as an area of knowledge of special interest for the business management. The Observatory of the Bank Negotiation, the Observatory of the Credit Risk and the Observatory of Management of the Expense, have been defined for giving visibility to the Chair.
