Diego del Alc?r talks about the future of the media and its responsibilities to society.

On April 14, Diego del Alcázar, President of the Vocento Group and President of IE, gave an address at the Group's Annual Shareholders Meeting. His address focused on the international economic scenario, the outlook for the media sector, the Vocento Group's vision of the future, the challenges facing print versions of the press, and the media's responsibilities to society.

Del Alcázar also underscored the four pillars on which the development of the press must rest and on those the IE Communicator is taught: the ethical commitment of the media, a commitment to truth, research into that truth and citizenship.
