Last week MILP students took part in an intensive program of lectures and debates on International Relations, intended to develop further their global skills and increase their awareness of the problems and challenges the world faces today. Fifteen lecturers came to IE Law School and offered their analysis and engaged in discussions on topics such as the role of the USA as the only superpower, the attempt of the European Union to become a global actor, the origin and possible solutions to the global financial crisis, the political and economic situation in China and India, military and security threats, re-thinking development cooperation in Africa or understanding the recent political evolution of Latin America. Students also participated in a social event during the seminar, an evening discussion about wine and globalization and a wine tasting session, both led by Gonzalo Verdera, graduate of Harvard Business School , former McKinsey consultant and founder of the company Todovino.
