IE University celebrated Science Week this November to promote scientific investigation and technological innovation. Coordinator Jesús G. Ochoa organized the event to reflect the international atmosphere of existing cooperation in the scientific community, and to demystify science, making it more accessible.
Science week was a great success, namely the open doors of the biology laboratories, as well as the online contest organized by IE University through the social network www.scienceweek.ning.com which allowed students from many countries to compete in decision-making scenarios with environmental consequences.
Additionally, IE School of Biology organized a photographic exposition entitled "Plants in Action-Facing Challenges of Climate Change", in the Exposition Hall of IE University. It gives viewers a deeper understanding of the behaviors of Mediterranean plants responding to the factors of climate change.
