Professor Juan Luis Manfredi in the magazine Cuadernos de Periodistas.

IE School of Communication Professor Juan Luis Manfredi has just published an article titled "Journalism and Transparency" in the Magazine Cuadernos de Periodistas that the Asociación de la Prensa de Madrid distributes between its 7,000 members.
Professor Juan Luis Manfredi discusses a model based on the transparency of an administration and the government based on the legislation that provides access to public records. He affirms that "Spain is an anomaly in Europe and that we journalist have to promote a legal frame that facilitates our profession".
This article is the result of a US Embassy in Madrid grant that took him to the United States in order to study the legal system, the American editorial departments and the access to public records.
