This past Easter holiday four students from the International LLM at IE Law School travelled to Vienna, Austria to take part in one of the world’s largest law competitions. The competition is the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court and allows participants to simulate arbitral proceedings in defense of a client. The students start work on the problem in October and carry on until Easter.
This year’s team was composed of students Faris Shehabi (Australia), Rodrigo Tozo (Brazil), Pablo Debuchy (Paraguay) and Tan Yuan Kheng (Singapore). These four competed against the University of Toledo (USA), University of Warsaw (Poland), University of Osnabrück (Germany) and the University of Sydney (Australia).
