Social Entrepreneurship
For the past 4 years Pamela Hartigan, Managing Director of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, has been coming to IE Business School to share her knowledge and experience with MBA students. Last year she taught, together with Professor Joseph Pistrui, the elective on Social Entrepreneurship.
Mel Young, Cristobal Colón, Jeroo Bilimoria and other Schwab Entrepreneurs have shared their experiences and insights on their specific social endeavours with the IE community.
Maria Zapata, Director of Ashoka Spain has also contributed to the Social Entrepreneurship conversation at IE Business School. On 2006 they received an award from 5 IE Net Impact Chapter members for “their achievements on building a competitive citizen sector, being a reference in social entrepreneurship for the past 26 years”.
Collaboration with other Social Entrepreneurs like Daniel Lubetzky from OneVoice have been strengthening the Social Entrepreneurship conversation among IE Community.
