Class Sessions
Teamwork
The methodology used in the Executive MBA program is grounded in teamwork. Students debate cases and respond to set challenges in small groups, which reflect the plurality of profiles and professional sectors present in class. These groups provide an extraordinary opportunity to share experiences and to benefit from varied professional backgrounds, as well as developing skills and management techniques. All of this in a setting which closely resembles the every-day working environments of today's organizations.
Active Participation
Active participation in class is essential as a means of sharing all the work previously carried out in teams, and opens the floor to debate and to the contribution of new ideas. Students, together with their teacher, interact and find new solutions to the cases they have been assigned, and at the same time, enrich and strengthen their global outlook in every area of business.
Expand Your Contact Network
The Core Period
A key attribute of an Executive MBA is the opportunity to establish a solid network of contacts. Hours shared during group work and weekend classes serve not only to strengthen personal relationships, but also open the way for new opportunities and the convergence of goals, interests and professional projects. The range of extracurricular activities offered by the school throughout the course provide further opportunities to enrich your personal and professional network.
… and beyond the program
In addition to extracurricular activities, the option to participate in Global Immersion Week at an international destination allows you share the experience with students from the Spanish version of the program, further strengthening the global nature of your network. To this you will add all your all your new coursemates from your chosen final Module.
Executive MBA+, Face-to-face Format
An academic experience, part-time
The IE method is characterized by its eminent practicality, based on the case method and teamwork. Academic progress is attained through the analysis of hundreds of real-life cases relating to all branches of business. Students work in groups where they discuss the case and look for solutions and answers. In weekend classes this group work is compiled and knowledge and skills are consolidated and strengthened, all under the guidance of the professor.
