Ph.D

After graduating at Bocconi University, Milan, in 2002 I spent 5 years working as CPA and registered financial auditor.

In 2007 I joined the Department of Accounting of Bocconi University where I lectured in financial accounting, financial statement analysis and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). During my experience in Bocconi I understood that the challenging and intellectually stimulating world of academia was what I was really looking forward for my future career. Since then I had clear in mind that a PhD was my next step. And IE Business School was the ideal place to achieve it. International faculty, young and promising program were just a few elements that I considered at the time of my application. Today I would add great flexibility of the program and professors always on hand. My areas of interest within financial accounting are accounting quality, international financial reporting, audit quality and social networks.
