Financial Aid Helps You Fund Your Master Degree Experience.
Studying at IE Business School is an investment of time, effort and financial resources. To help students manage the funding of their program, IE Financial Aid provides access to scholarships, fellowships and student loan programs. When planning your master program experience it’s important to take into account all program and related expenses, to be sure your budget is realistic and that you’ll have the necessary resources to fund it. So for example if you plan on doing an unpaid internship with an NGO as part of your master degree experience, this is an additional expense you’ll need to plan for. As each student has the opportunity to make their IE experience a unique one, each student will have unique funding needs. Below we’ve provided additional information on the types of financial assistance IE offers, and how you can apply for Financial Aid.
IE Financial Aid: Scholarships, Fellowships and Student Loans.
The Financial Aid Office offers several scholarship programs covering up to 50% of the tuition fees, as well as competitive loans from partner banks to finance approximately up to 80% of tuition fees. Moreover, if you are interested in getting additional experience and networking by participating in IE projects at functional or academic and research departments, you could apply for the IE Fellow Award, a collaboration scholarship.
Before applying to Financial Aid you must have been admitted to the program by the Admissions Department. After admission has been granted, candidates can apply up to three scholarships (including fellowships) and loans. Financial aid applications are on rolling submission. However, it is strongly recommended to apply as soon as possible, since the closer the intake is, the lower the amount of funds available.
How to Apply for Financial Aid
Every year approximately 40% of incoming master students receive financial assistance from IE, so if you have the financial need apply as soon as you have submitted your admissions application form.
To apply for Financial Aid you’ll need to navigate to the central Financial Aid web page and complete the online Financial Aid application form, using the same username and password you created during the admissions application process. You can apply for a maximum of 3 scholarships and an IE Fellow Award.
Once you have submitted a complete Financial Aid application form, typically it takes 2-4 weeks to receive a decision from Financial Aid. Please remember that having admissions to an IE Business School master program is a pre-requisite to being awarded financial assistance.
