Program Overview

Students will view the sports industry from all business angles; from sports marketing to operations in sports facilities.

They expand sports networking and knowledge by interacting with colleagues and faculty members that are currently working in the sports industry and are able to bring the market directly to the classroom. IE’s Blended format allows students to gain a world-class MBA and get insight into the sports business without them having to compromise their work or personal commitments.

Financial Aid

At IE we have over 25 different scholarship options for +Sports Management applicants that cover up to 50% of the total program cost. Financial Aid is granted based on 3 main criteria: merit, diversity and financial need.

Residential periods

Residential periods offer  a valuable opportunity to enjoy amazing cities and interact with fellow participants and professors, while participating in workshops focused on skill-building activities such as leadership and networking. They include conferences, visits to leading companies and business incubators, meetings with top executives and enjoying life of vibrant amazing cities of Madrid and San Francisco.

Visa Support

Students will only need a tourist visa to attend the f2f periods. Student Office at IE provides support to  all the admitted students.

University Diploma

Those students in possession of an official university diploma, or with an equivalent official diploma that allows access to post-graduate studies in the country of your university studies, will be awarded an Official University Master in Business Administration (MBA), from IE University.

 

This official university diploma is adapted to the European Higher Education Area in accordance with the Bologna Process. It is worth 60 credits ECTS and provides you with access to third cycle studies, and therefore, to doctorate programs.
