IE Business School in SME Homage

On November 19 Mario Alonso Puig took part in the SME homage event held in Madrid aimed at promoting recognition for small and mid-sized firms and supported by IE Business School. Puig shared knowledge with over 1,000 business leaders with an address on the Keys to Positive Thinking and Mood when Running an SME.

"The moment we focus our attention on something it becomes more real for us” said Puig. “That’s why the key is to play to win rather than play to not lose. A person’s state of mind when it comes to tackling the challenges life throws at us is a determining factor in achieving results and achieving mental balance and health”.

In April of 2013 IE Business School will launch its Executive Master in Positive Leadership & Strategy, an English-taught program aimed at senior managers prepared to examine the relation between the psychological well-being of employees and bottom-line results. Directors of the program explained that “Positive Leadership is a new way of helping businesses achieve an extraordinary and sustainable level of performance in a world of constant change with high levels of uncertainty and ambiguity”.
