IE celebrates the diversity of its alumni’s success

IE celebrates the diversity of its alumni’s success | IE Business School
IE proudly acknowledges the diversity of its alumni’s success through an innovative initiative entitled EPIC (Extraordinary People Inspiring the IE Community), created to celebrate the milestones of IE alumni in their professional and personal lives as inspiring examples for the rest of the alumni community.

Through this initiative, IE will showcase the most extraordinary alumni stories which will be chosen by a selection committee and the broader alumni community. The EPIC awards will be revealed at a ceremony set to take place in May of 2016 at the annual Alumni Forum in Madrid.

EPIC will have its own website at epic.ie.edu where testimonials will be gathered and shared. They will be divided into five categories that demonstrate the diverse paths that can lead to success: Young & Ambitious MindsCreators; Business ImpactWomen Inspiring Womenand Human Success. Baume & Mercier is the sponsor of this initiative, having expressed the desire to collaborate with IE to celebrate these success stories and enable their capacity to inspire others.

“One of the core values that makes us proud of our alumni community is the quality in human terms of our more than 50,000 alumni in over 160 countries,” said Julia Sánchez, Head of Global Alumni Relations at IE. “This is what inspired us to create EPIC (Extraordinary People Inspiring the IE Community), which aims to challenge the traditional concepts of success. Every day we meet remarkable alumni in different parts of the world whose stories reflect new paradigms of professional and personal growth.”

“For Baume & Mercier it is an honor to be the sponsor of this project and to have the opportunity of reaching out to the IE Community with such a positive message,” said Karine Janson, Brand Manager of Baume & Mercier. “The EPIC project reflects the philosophy of our brand perfectly – namely the importance of celebrating key moments in one’s life and the effort behind them, both of which form part of the stories of participating alumni.”
