PwC & IE Centre for Corporate Responsibility
The PwC & IE Centre for Corporate Responsibility is a joint initiative of IE and PriceWaterhouseCoopers that focuses on research, training and the dissemination of CR material in three basic areas: good governance and transparency; environment and sustainability; society and diversity.

The centre’s objectives are:
- To foster reflexion on corporate responsibility among the different key players and economic and social agents. 
- To provide a platform for analysis of the impact of CR policies on corporate activities, and how they translate into the creation of value for companies and society.
- To carry out conceptual structuralisation to help the corporate and institutional world to understand and manage the impact of CR and develop sustainability policies.
- To develop innovative and relevant teaching material in the form of case studies, technical notes, articles or studies on the different issues that are considered appropriate.
- Promote the training of directors capable of understanding the implications of CR on strategy and corporate development, to provide competitive advantage for their organisation.
-Promote joint initiatives with institutions and international firms, with a focus on Latin America.
- Facilitate the exchange of experiences and adoption of best practices.
-To disseminate research results through scientific and business journals and media.

The centre focuses on three main lines of activity:

- Development of conceptual frameworks that promote understanding of CR and related issues
- Preparation of research documents, case studies and sector-specific studies
- Collaborations with similar research centres
- Responses to specific needs and consultations on issues in the field of corporate responsibility

The results of research carried out both by the Centre and by other institutions will form a base for training activities that include:
- A series of seminars specialising in the different aspects and of corporate responsibility
- International workshops and conferences
- Annual conference on corporate responsibility
- Training sessions integrated into other specific programs of both IE and PWC
- Preparation of e-learning content related to corporate responsibility

The centre considers it essential to make a concentrated effort to communicate results to the business community and society in general, which enables the dissemination of the results of reflexion and research projects.

The centre undertakes the following:
- Annual award for research in corporate responsibility
- Articles on opinions in the economic press, dossiers and other publications
- Promotion of and participation in specialised opinion panels • Dissemination of “best practices” in relevant areas of corporate responsibility
- Presentations and active participation in national and international forums
