The Global MBA is a series of Learning and Development Programmes conducted in a sequential order via three mediums of instruction: Asynchronous Online Sessions, Live Interactive Video Sessions and Blended Sessions.

Using the Campus Online, participants access the Asynchronous Online Sessions, conducted Monday through Thursday and Live Interactive Video Sessions, conducted Friday and Saturday, allowing them to participate in Learning & Development Programmes from anywhere in the world. In addition to providing geographic mobility, they can access the Global Communities Portal which introduces participants to the IE international network of peers, participants and members of these virtual global communities.

Whether travelling for business or just out of desire to experience something new, participants may also attend Blended Sessions or Community Integration Events at the various locations including Shanghai, New York, London, Madrid and other cities. During the course of the Global MBA, participants are required to attend at least two Blended Sessions or Community Integration Events.

These presential events allow participants to follow Learning & Development Programmes and meet their professors and colleagues and network in person. They also allow participants to experience other cities and cultures both on a business and a social level as they meet members of the regional business community and address current business challenges, both in the region and worldwide.
