The International Executive MBA is a high level MBA program aimed at professionals with extensive experience who wish to broaden their perspectives, re-orientate in career or simply update their management knowledge.

The program is designed to be accessible to students worldwide in one or other of its two formats and to be compatible with the high level work pressures of our students. Participants will have the opportunity to share experience and build a network with like-minded professional from a hugely diverse range of professional backgrounds as well as develop a strategic, global mindset, an understanding of the newest management tools and develop the communications, decision making and change management skills required by a leader in today’s fast-moving business world.

The International Executive MBA is a thirteen-month program offered in two formats –Online and Bi-weekly.

The Online format is based around two online training periods and three face-to-face periods each lasting two weeks. Students are therefore able to follow the program regardless of their geographic location and work commitments. Whereas the Bi-weekly format comprises presential classes every two weeks for participants who cannot leave their place of residence and/or professional responsibilities for extended periods of time.

The International Executive MBA is divided into two modules, one dealing with fundamentals and the second with integration.

The goal of the IE Business School International Executive MBA is to equip participants with a solid working knowledge of the most innovative business management techniques with a particular accent on new technologies. It also aims to familiarise students with the kind of management skills that constitute an increasingly important factor in professional success.

The International Executive MBA is an intensive thirteen month program offered in two formats – Bi-weekly and Online. The International Executive MBA is divided into two modules, the first dealing with fundamentals and the second with integration. The executive design allows participants to implement new knowledge and skills immediately in their everyday workplace.

The Bi-weekly format comprises classes every other weekend at the downtown Madrid campus. This format fosters face-to-face international interaction within the classroom at short intervals, as well as dynamic & continuous working group advancement. The time in between classes is supported by Campus Online permitting flexible participation from the student’s place of residence at his/her convenience.

You will be working within select groups of professionals looking to expand their knowledge and further develop their capabilities, driving an inspiring and challenging discussion of the topics from various perspectives and experiences. To be considered for admission, a candidate must have successfully completed the following prior to submission:

• A Bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university or equivalent (this requirement may be waived in the case of candidates with outstanding professional experience).
• A minimum of three years managerial experience.
• A complete application for evaluation by the Admissions Committee, including all supporting documents.

The demanding nature of the International Executive MBA requires that all candidates are subject to a rigorous selection process to ensure a top quality student body. The main objective of the admissions process is to fully understand the candidate’s professional background, experience and exposure, to asses the candidate’s abilities to interact and thrive within the demanding program and to select students with the highest potential.

Candidates pay a non-refundable application fee of €120 to cover administrative costs.

The tuition fees for the International Executive MBA June 2008 intake amount to €46,000 + €1,050 (contribution to the IE Business School Foundation).

Admission is valid for two years, allowing the successful applicant up to two years to reserve a place on an intake, thus allowing students to plan their MBA experience. To reserve a place on the International Executive MBA, intake students are required to make a deposit equivalent to 20% of the total program fees (€9,200) + the contribution to the IE Business School Foundation (€1,050).
