The mission of each one of the Social Impact Management research units at IE is to produce a pragmatic and innovative line of research whereby the resultant knowledge can be immediately applied to all areas of activity at IE. The research centres which relate to the triple bottom line are the following:

PwC & IE Centre for Corporate Responsibility

The PwC & IE Centre for Corporate Responsibility is a joint initiative of IE and PriceWaterhouseCoopers that focuses on research, training and the dissemination of CR material in three basic areas: good governance and transparency; environment and sustainability; society and diversity.

Centre for Diversity in Global Management

The Centre for Diversity in Global Management at IE was created in September 2002. The Centre’s mission is to promote diversity management of gender, culture, personality and age as a competitive advantage in the corporate world, through reflection, creation of knowledge and the dissemination of know-how.

Centre for Eco-Intelligent Management

The Centre for Eco-Intelligent Management (CEM) at Instituto de Empresa is an international research and training centre whose mission is to help the business community shape the Next Industrial Revolution.

The basis of the eco-intelligent focus lies in an in-depth approach to design and commerce that incorporates concern for prosperity, social equity and eco-intelligence.

The CEM is the European and international nexus for the study of business management challenges faced by companies that are implementing eco-intelligent strategies.

PWC / IE Public Sector Centre

The creation of the PwC/IE Public Sector Centre by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Instituto de Empresa (IE) is the direct result of their awareness that the participation of private firms in the public sector will foster growth and enhance levels of efficiency and effectiveness. The Centre’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for this process.
