Take the Challenge Scholarship Program

We will train students willing and able to take the development challenge, to execute and lead management projects into economic growth via ethical practices, and to build sustainable economies.

Both individuals and countries benefit from education. For individuals, the potential benefits lie in general quality of life and in the economic returns of sustained, satisfying employment. For countries, the potential benefits lie in economic growth and the development of shared values that underpin social cohesion. The less economically developed countries are handicapped in the global market by their shortage of appropriately trained managers who can help draw up development-oriented policies, facilitating transitions, mobilising resources and using them effectively and improving the sharing of roles and responsibilities.

Take the Challenge® Mission

Take the Challenge® Program aims to sponsor and train students willing to take the development challenge, to foster growth in emerging economies and to build a sustainable world. Education and training, the major elements of human capital development, have long been recognized as indispensable to the formation process. The curricula of the program will generate responsible managers and entrepreneurs willing to take responsibilities for the unfinished agenda of next-generation reforms needed to produce economic and social progress in developing economies.

Scholarship Program

The Take the Challenge® Scholarship Program is an umbrella for various focused scholarships covering between 20-50% of the tuition fees for the IE International MBA.

Scholarship Sponsor

The IE Fund, based in New York, USA, has been approved as a private foundation by the US Treasury Department. It has the legal right to raise funds to apply to educational purposes that include scholarships, academic chairs and research, while supporting the upscale role of IE in providing exceptional business education to an international student body. Apart from the Take the Challenge® Scholarship Program, the IE Fund supports the Center for Diversity in Global Management at IE Business School, which fosters the integration of cultural, gender and skills diversity as tools for more effective business performance.
