IE University grants annually a maximum of 50 scholarships annually, which cover the total cost of the Academic Year for students who are residents of the Region of Segovia. These scholarships are awarded by the Regional Council and the deadlines are as follows:

Until the 29th of June 2012
Until the 28th of September 2012

The applications for the Scholarships must be delivered to the General Registrar of the Region of Segovia, any day between 9am and 2pm.

Regional Government Scholarships

Scholarships offered by the Regional Government of Castile and Leon are intended for students coming from the region or other autonomous regions in Spain, who wish to enroll in a public or private university in Castile and Leon. The scholarships are published annually between October and November in the Official Bulletin of Castile and Leon, and applicants have up to 30 days to apply for the scholarships once they’ve been published. These scholarships are coordinated by the Territorial Delegation for Education.

To be eligible for financial aid for University students corresponding to the 2011/2012 academic year, it is necessary for the candidate to have already applied for financial support offered by the Ministry of Education.

Interested applicants can apply for the following types of financial support:

Support with living expenses and tuition fees
Support with tuition fees
Support for their Final Project

Other Regional Scholarships

Some autonomous regions award scholarships to university students who attend universities outside their home region, to complete their undergraduate studies.

Ministry of Education Scholarships

GENERAL AND MOBILITY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNIVERSITY AND OTHER HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS FOR THE 2011/2012 ACADEMIC YEAR

National Scholarships: Provided by the Ministry of Education and intended for students whose university studies will lead to a Bachelor degree, graduate, engineer, architect, diploma, technical engineer, technical architect or an official master. The publication date for these scholarships goes from July 28th until October 14th 2011.

Application forms should be completed and handed in at the center of study where you are enrolled as a student for the 2011/2012 academic year, including the supporting material required and within the timeframe outlined on the website. COLLABORATION SCHOLARSHIPS

National scholarship program for students in the final year of their university studies who want to engage themselves in research areas directly related to their program of study. These scholarships are compatible with other general scholarships and financial aid programs, and with mobility scholarships offered through the Ministry of Education.

The publication date for these scholarships is from July 7th 2011 until October 14th 2011.

The total value of the scholarship includes the costs of academic services. The amount will be standard for all scholarship recipients, and this scholarship can only be awarded for one academic year.
