The various stages of our admission process are aimed at identifying those areas of your academic and personal profile that make you unique, and to make sure that you fit in with our educational model.
At IE University, we don’t have a specific deadline for admission into any of our undergraduate programs. We have a rolling admissions policy, which means that you can apply to IE University at any time of the year.
We recommend that you register for our upcoming events (open house, virtual sessions etc.) so that you can receive information on all our degrees, read about our methodology and air any questions you may have.
Places on our undergraduate programs are limited, and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, by strict order of reservation. As our programs are usually full several months before the academic year starts, we advise you to start the process as soon as possible, keeping in mind that having your studies officially recognized, and if applicable, applying for visas, can take time.
If you have any queries, don’t hesitate to contact us by e-mail at university@ie.edu or by phone on + 34 921 412 428 or +34 915 689 620.
Offering equal learning opportunities to our students is our priority. Providing the necessary means for an adequate expression of knowledge is fundamental in how we approach diversity. IE University offers a series of special adjustments for students with SEN (Special Educational Needs) throughout the application and for the duration of your studies.
If you want to benefit from such adaptations during the admissions process, contact the Admissions Department undergrad.admissions@ie.edu with the subject: Special educational needs. We will contact you to indicate the documents you need to provide and how to do so. The information provided is handled confidentially and will be filed exclusively for the intended purposes.
The application form contains detailed step-by-step information on how to fill it in, guiding you through the process.
IE University’s Admissions Test is conducted solely in English and assesses your verbal, logical and numerical skills. This rigorous exam is a flexible alternative to other standardized tests such as SAT or LNAT.
This assessment allows the admissions team to get a sense of your personality and potential before proceeding to a possible interview.
The interview will allow us to get to know you better, and further assess certain qualities, such as your personality, capacity for critical thinking, method of self expression and other communication skills.
The Admissions Committee is made up of university staff members who will jointly assess your suitability as a candidate. You will be informed of the Admissions Committee’s decision in writing.
