On June 24-26 IE School of Architecture will host the second edition of the International Architectural Education Summit, a bi-annual meeting of deans and directors of the world´s top architecture schools. The summit was first held two years ago in Tokyo by UCLA’s Director of Architecture and Urban Design, Hitoshi Abe.

IE University and IIT to launch an Architecture Summer School on the Battle of Cities for Sustainability

The Illinois Institute of Technology College of Architecture, Chicago, and IE School of Architecture & Design, Madrid/Segovia, have joined forces to launch the IE/IIT Summer School, set to take place from July 8 to 15, 2011. The course, headed ATLAS ON DENSITY, will explore the cross implications of levels of density and sustainability from the sprawl of American suburbs to the extreme density of Asian cities.

From April 13th – April 15th 2011, IE University’s Junior Advisory Board will hold its third annual meeting. Founded in 2009, promoted and organized by IE School of Arts and Humanities, The Junior Advisory Board is a highly selective group of pre-university students, aged from 15 to 19 years old, who advise IE University on the future of university education.

The IE-Brown International Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship on the Humanities is an annual opportunity open by IE School of Arts and Humanities to the Brown University post-graduate community in the field of humanities.  The fellowship offers the opportunity for young academics to further their development through designing and implementing their own curricular ideas in the international classroom setting of IE’s cross-disciplinary approach to humanities.
