    Cell and Tissue Biology cerrar Cell and Tissue Biology This subject covers cell and tissue structures and functions in animals and plants. Students explore the network of organelles that allows cells to work, as well as important processes such as cell division and cellular differentiation. Microscopy is central in this course. Students learn to prepare samples using a variety of techniques for staining to distinguish different types of cells and tissues.	Core	6

You will study the diversity of the Animal Kingdom in the lab and in the field, where you will put in practice the main sample techniques.     Bioenergy cerrar Bioenergy The search for sustainable alternatives to fossil fuel is an important challenge today. In this course, alumni will study biological energy production, including the use of biomass and biodiesel production. Students also learn to assess the sustainability of alternative energies. Students will discover different adaptations to different conditions and observe physiological mechanisms across species.     Quality Management of Biological Products cerrar Quality Management of Biological Products Due to their perishability, biological products need special care to ensure their quality from production to consumption.
