Anna Pla has worked for international offices like Foster and Partners of London and Eisenman Architects of New York, for, as an entrepeneur, starting afterwards her own independent practice in Barcelona. She has close ties to international academic institutions such as Penn University and the Berlage Institute or Harvard, where she served as Visiting Professor the academic year 2008/09. Currently she combines her teaching and professional work, the development of the technological laboratory NuDL in IE School of Architecture with research activity, covering -among other things- the link between new technologies, design and entrepeneurship.
