Pons, Bárbara
Bárbara Pons Giner got her Bachelor in Architecture from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (1999) and Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University (2005). She has practiced as an architect to develop building and town planning projects, specializing in landscape and regional planning. She has spoken at numerous conferences and seminars as well as been guest critic in international juries. She is currently developing her Ph.D. in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She has spent most of his career in various positions in public administration. Between 2007 and 2011 she has been General Director of Regional Planning in the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, where she has made land use planning, special interest projects and landscape studies in collaboration with national and international universities. Currently she is a member of the advisory team of urban landscape of the City Council of Madrid.
