Javier Palomo started his professional career in 2000 as a member of Business & Legal Affairs department in The Walt Disney Company, providing legal advice to the television channels operated by Disney Group in Spain and Portugal. Afterwards, he joined Disney-ABC-ESPN Television team in London as legal advisor in the areas of content acquisition and television channel distribution in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Since March 2009 he is deputy head of Legal Affairs in Telecinco, being responsible for legal advice in the areas of content acquisition and movie production, participating in feature films as “Agora”, “Cell 211”, “Spanish Movie”, etc. He is also a member of the Committee Advisor to the General Director of the Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts Institute (ICAA) in relation to public subsidies to theatrical distribution since January 2010.
