Student Engagement

Dear IE students,

You are the heartbeat of IE University. Your leadership, expertise and enthusiasm lead the University’s vibe. Your role as volunteers is vital to the institution and to the success of the volunteers program.

As community leaders, your passion will inspire others and most importantly, will make a long-lasting impact on the Community.

ALUMNI AMBASSADORS

Alumni Ambassadors make the IE experience everlasting. You help classmates reconnect with each other, with IE and with Madrid. As the main communication liaison between IE and their peer group, their three main tasks are:

  • Help bring classmates back to campus and Madrid for the Global Alumni Weekend.
  • Encourage participation in activities throughout the year. Lead by example attending events and posting to social media platforms.
  • Support IE in its efforts to keep classmate’s contact information upto- date to build a strong database of alumni worldwide.

TIME NEEDED: 1 hour per week

ADMISSION’S AMBASSADOR

Ambassadors play a crucial role in the recruitment efforts of IE University’s Admissions. The position requires enthusiastic, articulate, highly organized, and extremely dependable volunteers who would represent IE to prospective students and their families.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM

Being a part of Student Leadership provides you with a unique IE experience alongside your classes and community. This diverse group serves as ambassadors for the university through their leadership and by being chief executive connectors between IE and the students.

TIME NEEDED: 3 hours per week

STUDENT CLUBS COORDINATORS

We are looking for students who will lead the clubs in achieving the goals and expectations set-forth together with IE and build a cohesive team amongst the board members and member
of the club.

CAREER REPS

Career Representatives serve as a means of communication among the students and the Talent and Careers department. Each class is free to choose their own.

CLASS REPS

Class Representatives serve as a means of communication among the students, professors and Program Management. Each class is free to choose their own. Programs can have either 1 or 2 class reps.

The Ethics Representative of each section will serve on the Ethics Committee.

The Student Government Members represent the student body and serve as means of communication among the whole student body and the IEU.
