The Scholarship Committee will communicate its decision on an application via e-mail within fifteen days since the receipt of the application and when the student has been accepted to IE.

As soon as you submit the online application form for admission and, preferably, three months before the start date of the program.

Of course! Financial aid is an additional way of financing your studies and everyone should apply for it.

Academic evaluation is based on many factors, but the key ones include:

– Participation in class
– Individual work
– Group Work

Yes, attendance of face-to-face periods is mandatory and also crucial to ensure the success of the program.

Once the program is completed, the student earns an IE Business School Global MBA degree. Whether you have studied the blended or weekly presential format, or the program in English, you will get exactly the same qualification. This degree is bilingual and does not differentiate the format in which you have completed the program. It also has official recognition from the European Higher Education Area.

On average, students dedicate around 25 hours a week to their studies, including teamwork, forums and video conferencing.

Decisions made by IE’s Scholarship Committee are sent by e-mail from financialaid@ie.edu.

You can apply for an IE loan at the same time as applying for a scholarship. Contact loans@ie.edu for more information.

You should apply for the two processes at the same time:

  1. Application process to IE Business School.
  2. Application process for the scholarship with the institution concerned (each one has its own application process and you should check their websites for more information).

In the blended format, there is just as much contact with classmates as those following the weekly format. At IE, we follow the Case Method approach – something that compels our students to work in groups, given that the professors demand each case be discussed and worked on together. Indeed, the success of the case study methodology is a result of what you learn from your colleagues in your group. Whatever the case, you will find you lean on your group week-after-week to prepare for the cases and subjects that are being studied.

Within the Online Campus, each group has a private workspace where you will find the tools that allow you to work on your cases. For example, you are able to access a private video conference room, where you can see, hear and share your notes and documents. This way, you can collectively discuss and come up with solutions to the cases and challenges set by the professor. Between the Online Campus and other channels used to connect online today, such as Skype, Whatsapp, etc. you will be in touch with your class mates on a daily basis. Do bear in mind that it is much easier to commit to a videoconference from the comfort of your home compared to a face-to-face meeting that requires you to travel to the location.

Don’t worry! In fact, many of those taking the test do not answer all the questions. The most important thing is to answer as many questions as you can in the time allocated in the most accurate way possible.

No. Any questions you have must be asked before the start of the test. Once the exam is underway, no questions will be answered.

It is recommended that you submit your application before taking the IE Global Admissions Test. In the case where an admissions test is taken before an application is submitted, the result will only be valid if the application is filed within 45 calendar days of completing the test.

You can apply for an IE loan at the same time as applying for a scholarship. Contact loans@ie.edu for more information.

Unless the admissions team considers it necessary, the IE Global Admissions Test can only be taken once. However, you can also submit the results of the GMAT or GRE.

The exam lasts 80 minutes. Before taking the test, the candidate may practice up to six questions (2 of each component), as directed by a representative of IE. Including the preparation and personality test, IE Global Admissions Test will last approximately two hours.

The Scholarship Committee will communicate its decision on an application via e-mail within one month of receipt of the application and when the student has been accepted to IE.

Of course! Financial aid is an additional way of financing your studies and everyone should apply for it.

Yes, the admissions committee will assess the GMAT along with the results of the admission test for IE. We recommend that if you’ve done the GMAT, you present results along with the application, regardless of the outcome of the IE Global Admissions Test.
