The admission process

  • 1. Submit the application form

The online application lets us know if you’d be a good fit for the program. Fill out the application in the language your desired program is taught in. There is a non-refundable application fee of €125.

    Go to Application Form

  • 2. Take the admissions test

The IE admissions test is designed to determine your ability to make business decisions under pressure and with little time. The intensity of the test simulates the performance that will be expected of students throughout the program. The GMAT and GRE are also accepted. If you’re planning to take the GMAT, we encourage you to try out IE’s GMAT simulation tool and see where you stand.

  • 3. Meet us in person or online

Those candidates who have completed and submitted their online application and passed the initial evaluation by the Admissions Committee will be invited to a personal interview. In this phase, their full application is evaluated to determine if the candidate meets the program requirements.

  • 4. Await the committee’s decision

After the completion of the interview the Admissions Committee will evaluate all aspects of the candidate’s application as a whole and reach its final decision, which will be formally communicated by letter or e-mail. There are three types of admissions decisions:

    Admission Granted

Admission is valid for two intakes, the one to which the candidate has applied to and the following one.

Admission is granted to those applicants who meet all program specific requirements and whose profiles match the program.

Admission does not guarantee a place in the program. Candidates are therefore recommended to secure a place by submitting a reservation as early as possible

    Conditional Admission

Conditional admission is awarded to those candidates who have the right profile for the program but have not yet met some of the mandatory program specific requirements. Once the pending documents have been submitted, the candidate will be granted definite admission.

    No Admission

The candidate does not fit the class profile. After receiving notice of non-admittance, the applicant may not re-apply to the program for two years from the date of notification.
