IE Business School’s Master in Management (MIM) program holds the 3rd position worldwide and 1st in Spain in the 2017 Financial Times ranking | IE Business School

This represents a rise of four positions from 2016’s seventh place and consolidates IE’s Master in Management as among the best in the world.

"The result of the ranking is due, in large part, to the profile of our students, who are from 68 countries and incredibly diverse backgrounds -- a profile which encourages a very unique learning experience,” said Kiron Ravindran, Vice Dean of Master in Management at IE Business School.

He added: “At IE, we are committed to the development of our students' talent through an emphasis on technology as a tool for both learning and transforming business.  As we continue to improve the MIM program each year, greater weight is put to online training and individual projects in order to respond to the varied interests, goals, and careers of each student.”

This year, the Master in Management is made up of 75% international students from 68 countries starting their careers. The program has two intakes, which begin in September and February, is 10 months long, and is taught in English, Spanish, and a bilingual format. To further boost their professional development, MIM students can pursue specializations in International Business, Sales & Marketing, Digital Business, Financial Management & Control, and Integrated Marketing Communications. The latter specialization is taught in collaboration with McCann Worldgroup and is aimed at young professionals who want to develop their career in creative agencies, media agencies, advertisers, branding companies, or the media.

MIM responds to the demands of recruiters by combining a broad vision of the reality of business, along with specialization and international focus. As a result, 93% of job-seeking graduates are working within three months of completing the program.

As part of its commitment to innovation and breaking with the traditional approach of face-to-face, blended and online training, IE launched the IE WOW Room last year, further strengthening technological immersion within the institution. This futuristic training space combines IE's teaching excellence with state-of-the-art technologies. #IEWOWRoom revolutionizes the learning experience through artificial intelligence, real-time simulations, big data analysis, interactive robots, emotional recognition systems and presence of experts via holograms, among other resources.
