An Unmatched Community
During the IE International MBA, you will encounter many activities outside of the classroom that further bring the IE Experience to life and provide additional learning opportunities to exchange ideas with the broader IE Community.
IE is strongly committed to supporting the entrepreneurial projects of our students and alumni. Every year more than 1,500 students receive training in Entrepreneurial Management at IE Business School. Our entrepreneurship professors have PhDs from top international business schools and are entrepreneurs, themselves, with extensive experience in the start-up world.
In addition, our Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center takes this thinking far beyond the classroom. On campus, we have our own incubator space, Area 31, which hosts dozens of startup teams each year and provides an inspiring physical space where students and local entrepreneurs can interact and share ideas. Off campus, IE hosts dozens of events around the world each year in order to bring IE to the world and the world to IE. We hope to see you at one soon!Want to learn more?
The humanities represent an integral part of the IE identity and therefore these academic disciplines are incorporated as a mandatory part of all its programs. The humanities provide the intellectual content, breadth of vision, personal enrichment, and well-informed cast of mind needed for success in the competitive and complex world we live in.
How do you give back? IE students come from all around the world, but they share a commitment to leaving the world a better place than they found it. In classes like Social Entrepreneurship and Business & Environment Strategy for CEOs, students can explore traditional and novel approaches to solving enduring social and environmental challenges. They will have the chance to collaborate with key players in the world of Social Responsibility, and many go on to make giving back part of their careers.
