The IE Center for Corporate Learning and Human Resources travels to MERIT Summit in Seville

Building People Capabilities at the speed of business in the digital age

With the title: How to drive innovation and transform organizations through people, 2020 MERIT annual summit has once more become the perfect setting where Corporate L&D and High Education leaders exchange best practices and boost the debate around the latest Corporate Learning trends.

Nick van Dam, chairman of the IE Center for Corporate Learning Innovation, was invited to become a speaker on February 5th with a very specific mission: deliver a two hour workshop for C-level L&D professionals on the need and opportunities for upskilling and reskilling the workforce.

Echoing the latest news from the World Economic Forum, which advises of the need to upskilling one billion employees by 2030, the interactive talk offered an overview about how to meet the learning needs corporations are facing in the digital age.

The workshop also became the chosen framework to introduce one of the Center’s featured programs: The International Masterclass Learning & Development Leadership. The six month blended executive program that will be launched next April and will gather together L&D senior international leaders with a goal in mind: get their organizations on the track of building employees capabilities within the disruptive environment of this 4th industrial revolution.
