Cop25: The Road to Sustainable Business

The Center for the Governance of Change participates at the UN Climate Change Conference COP25 that will take place under the Presidency of the Government of Chile and will be held in Madrid with support from the Government of Spain. The conference is designed to take the next crucial steps in the UN climate change process.

As content partner, the Center for the Governance of Change will host a panel on the role of the private sector in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on December 13th at the “Espacio Diálogo”, in the Green Zone of IFEMA. “The road to sustainable business: how companies are helping achieve the SDGs” will consist of representatives from the industry and international organizations that are making a change in their business towards sustainability:

Lara de Mesa, Head of Responsible Banking of Santander Bank, the world’s most sustainable bank according to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

María Sicilia, Strategy Director of Enagás, one of the world’s most sustainable energy companies according to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

Carlota Mateos, CEO and co-Founder of Rusticae and PlenEat, two leading companies in the field of sustainable services.

The panel will be moderated by Diego Rubio, Professor at IE University and Executive Director of the Center for the Governance of Change.
