Aaron Maniam

Aaron Maniam is currently a Doctoral student at Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government, researching digital government and how citizens can be involved in deliberation about, as well as implementation of, policy in a world increasingly mediated by technology. He is on leave from the Singapore government, where he has served in the Foreign Service, was the first Head of the Centre for Strategic Futures at the Prime Minister’s Office, and led policy-making on manufacturing, services and tourism at the Ministry of Trade and Industry. He sits on the board of a range of educational institutions, is a trained facilitator of interfaith dialogue, and has published two books of award-winning poetry. He is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
