Amanda Sissons

League Inc

Amanda Sissons is a health care specialist at League Inc (Canada) as well as a registered nurse.

She has worked as a researcher at the University Health Network, investigating psychosocial issues among patients pre and post-transplant. Amanda is also a senior research associate in the St. MichaelĀ“s Hospital department of Surgery, conducting qualitative research exploring fertility decision making for young women with cancer.

Likewise, Amanda is the producer of Nursing Student Narratives, a podcast that discusses issues particular to nursing through storytelling.

She holds a bachelor in Nursing from the University of Toronto and a bachelor in Psychology and Law in Ryerson University. She also has a master of Health Policy, Planning and Finance from the London School of Economics.
