Project Director & Tutor of the Department

Among other projects, Sonia has managed the Banespyme-Orange project, an innovative, nationwide technology start-up contest, which brought her into contact with experience-based entrepreneurial opportunity identification, feasibility and fundraising.

Sonia has been involved with a number of projects, including the Professional Advisory Service New Technology Based Firms of the Community of Madrid and the IMADE training program, which helped participants develop business plans, marketing strategy and financial plans.

She has managed various training courses for entrepreneurs: Telefónica I + D, Uniemprendia and Madrid Emprende, where budding entrepreneurs enter with a business idea, which they later develop. Currently, Sonia manages projects such as Passion>ie, an initiative that links the “innovation community” with businesses to develop projects that can contribute to economic and social development.

She also manages training programs for Wayra Telefonica, which supports innovative projects and costs related to information technology in AL and Europe.

At the academic level, Sonia is an entrepreneurial management tutor at IE Business School, which organises student-led projects from IE Business School, and large company corporate projects in various sectors.
