Sonia Dorado is Project Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, collaborates in the launching and management of IE initiatives related to entrepreneurship, management of global competitions for startups, workshops with innovative methodologies, design and management of development of customized innovation projects for corporations, etc.
He has managed projects such as Pasion>ie, an initiative that IE Business School carried out together with Accenture during 7 editions, whose aim was to link the innovative and business community with the corporations (Ferrovial, Makro, Endesa, Correos, Zurich, Carrefour, among others) in order to contribute to social and economic development. The training program, designed and directed by IE Business School, offered specific training courses for startups, tutorials, mentoring more than 60 projects and with more than 500 participants. The training program for Wayra of Telefónica, which supports innovative and profitable projects related to information technology in A.L. and Europe, the Comprometi2.0 project launched together with Fundación Canal in the search for innovative ideas to turn them into innovative, viable and sustainable projects, in the Fondo de Emprendedores of the Repsol Foundation during 4 editions.
He holds an MBA from the IE Business School and his interests are focused on starting up start-ups and implementing innovative business models.
Currently manages the 2nd edition of the Design Thinking program for the company VINCI ENERGIES, has been collaborating for several years in South Summit Madrid and Colombia in the selection of mentors for the finalist startups, in the design and management of the entrepreneurship module for the Summer School from IE Business School, in IE Startup Acceleration Program for the finalists of the International Venture Days, in the ELLE TALENT PROJECT program, etc … at an international level she has collaborated in projects for the World Bank, European Investment Bank, etc.
