Sra. Shantanny Anasha Campbell Lewis

Co-Director Nicaragua Tourism Board (INTUR)

Born in Bluefields, Autonomous Region of the South Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua in 1984. She was appointed as Co Director of the Nicaraguan Tourism Board in September 2015.


She has held at the Central American regional level as Secretary of Central American Tourism Integration (December 2013 to July 2015); as well as in several positions in the public sector, including Executive Vice President of the Nicaraguan Tourism Board (INTUR); Director of Tourism for the Caribbean Coast and official liaison of the Nicaragua Tourism Board with theĀ  Central American Tourism Council, the Central American Tourism Integration Secretariat and the Association of Caribbean States (AEC) (2010-2013). Specialist in International Politics for CARICOM-AEC, of the General Directorate of America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua (2008 – 2010).


She has a degree in International Relations with minor in international trade and Specialist in Tourism Strategic Planning. Additionally, she has completed postgraduate studies in Regional Integration “Central America to the New Paradigms” and “Corporate Social Responsibility, as an Integration Instrument for Development, in the Central American Integration Institute (ICI). She is currently studying a PhD in Social Sciences with a major in Management at the University of Zulia in Venezuela and the UNAN-Managua.
