Inés Berton

Inés Berton was born on November 28, 1972 and is studying at Northlands College.

Inés arrives in New York in 1993 to work at the prestigious Guggenheim Museum. Her Japanese mentor, Fumiko, notes the extreme sensitivity of her nose and her refined palate and proposes to train her in the art of Tea Blending in their countries of origin.

Perfumist specialized in tea harvests, initiates an important international career in which it has been 24 years.

After an extended period in N.Y. In charge of prestigious tea brands, in 2001, he returned to the country with the vision of creating the niche of “possible luxuries”. In a context that did not seem to encourage new ventures, Tealosophy was born, a unique concept of tea as a language.

In 2003 he opens his first store in the Promenade Alvear Gallery, offering more than 100 varieties of blends and developing exclusive teas for personalities from around the world such as the Dalai Lama, the Kings of Spain, José Saramago, Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin; and firms including Bulgari, Chanel, Hermés, as well as prestigious banks, hotels and restaurants around the world.

In 2004, Inés developed the blends of the Inti Zen brand of her friend Guillermo Casarotti and together they decided to create Chamana, a line of high-end infusions with which they won the prize for innovation at the SIAL in Paris. Today, both brands have a strong presence in more than 20 countries.

In 2007 he opened his store and offices in Paseo de Gracia, Barcelona, and the prestigious Louis Vuitton guide chose Tealosophy as the best teashop in Europe with the title “sublime teas” in its 2008 and 2009 edition.

 

She received the Konex diploma as a SME entrepreneur from the 2008 and 2018 decade.

It is part of the Endeavor network (high impact entrepreneurs).

Today Chair of the B20 for the Task Force Pymes.
