Our Venture Capital program is for investors and entrepreneurs keen to hone their financial and interpersonal skills for venture capital financing. During the program, industry professionals guide participants through the deal process, combining class-based theory with real-world cases and practical group activities.
Students in the International MBA program can opt into this innovative startup lab where trial and error is our MO. The lab has seen hundreds of brilliant startups go from a seed of an idea to a fully developed business plan.
All IE students – regardless of their degree – have this multidisciplinary leadership program built into their learning journey. Here, they are presented with some of society’s most pressing and complex issues, and are tasked with ideating sustainable solutions that make a positive impact.
Area 31 is a space where our students and alumni go to bring their ideas to life. It can accommodate up to 100 startup teams per year, and is even used as office space by select investors.
