Tomorrow , the 2nd of December  IE University has organized a workshop on Entrepreneurship for students from five of the best European institutions from Austria, Italia, Lithuania, Spain and Sweden.

The students were all recipients of Erasmus grants and subsidies awarded by the European Parliament, and the institutions they represented were Bundeshandelsakademie Hallein (Austria), IMIBERG s.c.r.l. (Italy), Kauno Saules gimnazija (Lithuania), IES San Mateo (Spain), and Thorén Business School (Sweden).

From each of these five institutions, six of their top students will have to present an entrepreneurial project. For it, IE University has designed a workshop which will be centered on the one hand, on teaching students to build up a team and the importance of team work in order to guarantee that the outcome of the project is a success. The second part of the workshop will focus on how students should detect upcoming business opportunities. Students will have Jorge Schura as an example of a young entrepreneur. He is one of the founders of Tyba, a company that was created with two other students whilst they were doing their Bachelors in Business Administration at IE University.

The event will be moderated by two experts on entrepreneurship and IE professors Carlos Pallero and Peter Bryant. They will try to make students aware of the importance of entrepreneurship, values that IE Univerisity applies in all its programs and to because of these values IE University stands as  one of the top business schools.

After the workshop the students went to visit Warner Bros Consumer Products where Rosa Tevar, Director of Licensing for Spain and Portugal, and Felix Anguita, RBD and Marketing Manager, gave a talk on the company and its future.
