Bootcamp Diary VIII: David

INTRODUCE YOURSELF:

My name is David, I come from the north of Spain, and I moved to Madrid many years ago to face new challenges and explore various professional opportunities. I am passionate about data curiosities and data statistics on different issues.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THIS WEEK IN THE BOOTCAMP?

The IE Data Science Bootcamp is reaching an end and it is incredibly satisfying to see how much we have learned so far and how we have all worked together to achieve significant milestones for our futures.

WHAT WAS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART OF YOUR WEEK?

The hard work of the last weeks is starting to wreak havoc, and a final effort should be made to meet the outstanding elements of the initial benchmarks.

HAS ANYTHING FUNNY OR COMICAL HAPPENED DURING THE BOOTCAMP THIS WEEK?

As the Football World Cup has just started and many of us support different countries, there have been many jokes and smiles on football teams and players, in particular, with Sebastiao –who comes from Lisbon- since Spain’s first football game was against Portugal.

WHAT IS THE MOST PRACTICAL SKILL THAT YOU’VE LEARNED THUS FAR IN THE BOOTCAMP?

All skills are instrumental and achieving a solid knowledge in Data Science is essential for successful career development.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT IN CLASS?

I spend most of my time with my beautiful family! Children grow up very fast, and I love experiencing affectionate moments that we’ll remember. However, I also dedicate some time to read and chill out with good friends.
