EVERYTHING STARTS TO MAKE SENSE, AND INSTEAD OF SEEING EACH CLASS INDIVIDUALLY, IT ALL BECOMES A TREE WITH SEVERAL INTERTWINED BRANCHES | BOOTCAMP DIARY BY SEYNABOU KEBE

Week 8

This week started after the adrenaline rush of the Exploratory Data Analysis. Working in groups, meeting deadlines, and studying for exams makes us keep up a fast pace.

As we are diving into the machine learning courses, an enlightenment has happened—everything starts to make sense, and instead of seeing each class individually, it all becomes a tree with several intertwined branches.

As always, we started with the theory, applied it in the exercise, and used all this new knowledge in our Capstone Project. The long hours start to take a toll on healthy eating and exercise habits but are compensated for with the calories burned engraving all this new knowledge on the brain.

The class atmosphere is more relaxed this week, as we are reaching the end of the Bootcamp. But I still feel a mix of excitement and anxiety for the end of the course, which will be bittersweet, as I’ll enter another big challenge in my life—a new career path. But for now, I’m allowing myself to rest and focus on the short term. I will be present, as I learned in the Resilience class!
