LAWARDS recognises social innovators in the legal industry

The Law Schools Global League is launching, with the support of IE Law School and Ontier, the first edition of the Lawards: Innovation in Law Awards, an initiative aiming to discover and promote early innovators who are disrupting the legal services industry in ways that help promote the cause of justice. In the first edition, the focus is on tech-based solutions to improve access to justice of underserved persons and communities anywhere in the world.

All innovators working on solutions to improve access to justice broadly understood are invited to apply to the Award. All details regarding participation are available here. Queries about the Awards and applications should be sent to Isabel.Garces@ie.edu and esraozcan@ku.edu.tr by 31 May 2017.

The winner and finalist group shall be announced on June 15, 2017, and two representatives of each group shall be invited to attend the Award ceremony —travel and accommodation fully covered for three nights at Hotel Camino Real Polanco, City of Mexico. The Award Ceremony will take place during the LSGL´s Annual Conference which this year shall take place at ITAM, in Mexico City, on the evening of July 20, 2017.
