My name is Irene Saravia and I’m from Madrid, Spain. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Design last year, I decided to enroll in this Bootcamp. Even though I didn’t have to travel far to come to IE, I knew that this journey would take me further than I could ever imagine.

I decided to get the ball rolling because I had gotten to a breaking point with where I was academically and professionally. I had to choose whether to take the next step in my graphic and digital design education or to take my business game to the next level by enhancing my technical skills. For a number of years, I had been noticing that I needed to improve the latter, so I obviously went with that option (if not, I wouldn’t be writing this!)—and I’m very glad I did.

Now, as I enter my seventh week of the Bootcamp, I can say that even though it has been more intense than I had expected, it has also been more rewarding than I could’ve ever imagined. The other participants have been extremely helpful whenever I’ve been faced with a challenge on my learning journey, and they know that I will always be there for them, too.

I’m constantly pushing past my limits and I’ve discovered so much about the good, the bad and the ugly of data. And at the end of the day, I can confidently say that I wouldn’t have it any other way.

printf(“Hello, World!”) Now that I’ve broken the ice with a programming joke, let me introduce myself!
