My name is Gonzalo and I have been part of the 2020 IE Exponential Learning Data Science Bootcamp. It was an extraordinary edition, which I would say was challenging due to the global health circumstances of COVID-19. I have a bachelor\u2019s degree in physics and broad international experience in the lighting and electrical markets. I speak four languages, and I\u2019m a loyal IE University student whenever the educational need arises.<\/p>\n

The Bootcamp classes have been in a full-time, online format, which made it more difficult to achieve certain goals that could have been easier face-to-face.<\/p>\n

The main interest which led me to register as a Bootcamper was to better and more accurately understand what data science is about, and what it involves professionally speaking. I also needed to complement my skills with the acquisition of new abilities in programming languages like Python.<\/p>\n

This is a complete, reliable and business-focused tool. It enables students to stand out in their career, and gives them the opportunity to choose and adapt to job roles in this continuously changing, technological working context.<\/p>\n

Despite the high level required and the number of subjects in this course, the learning curve has been accelerated and I\u2019ve learned a lot in a short period of time. As education has no end, I appreciate the knowledge I\u2019ve acquired so far in this Bootcamp, which has allowed me to manage a large amount of data in no time and figure out useful insights for real business purposes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When it comes to social aspects, the teamwork has been rewarding and encouraging, as I\u2019ve built a strong rapport with my classmates based on motivation, confidence and resilience. Most of the time, we see eye-to-eye in terms of sharing points of view. I\u2019m very thankful to all of them and probably would not have learned so much without their help.<\/p>\n

Overall, I would say the course has been a profitable and instructive one.<\/p>\n
