IE Business School 2nd in the World for Online MBA Programs

IE Business School is second in the world, for the fourth consecutive year, according to the Financial Times 2021 Ranking of Online MBA Programs.

The latest Financial Times ranking places IE Business School’s Global Online MBA as second in the world and further consolidates IE University’s international position as a leader in online education. The ranking highlights the programs commitment to corporate social responsibility, ranking the School first in this particularly category. Among the key factors the Financial Times considers for this ranking are student profiles, their career path, academic experience, diversity, and faculty.

The Global MBA allows students, who as a class typically represent more than 50 nationalities, to explore business foundations in a flexible, customizable, and highly interactive learning environment. Students now have the option of completing the program in either 17 or 24 months, and can choose to participate in the course fully online or in a blended format that includes face-to-face periods in Madrid.

“The Global MBA at IE Business School prepares students to manage the new normal of constant change.”

Ignacio Gafo, Vice Dean of Global & Executive MBA Programs at IE Business School

“The program offers the same academic rigor as a face-to-face program and our students develop the skills necessary for managing and leading multinational teams, in physical and online environments, and in a highly volatile context. The ranking reflects the rigorous work and academic excellence, which enhance the professional development and success of our students over many years,” said Ignacio Gafo, Vice Dean of Global & Executive MBA Programs at IE Business School.

The innovative educational experience of IE Business School’s Global Online MBA, as well as the flexibility of the program, is underlined by IE University’s liquid learning methodology. Liquid Learning is IE University’s unique and evidence-based education method that seamlessly flows between virtual and in-person learning and helps students and professionals acquire the expertise and develop the skills and mindsets needed to access and develop jobs in an unpredictable and fast changing world. The University recently announced the launch of the IE Center for Liquid Learning, which will serve to facilitate knowledge sharing, feature liquid learning experiences and building community.

“The Global Online MBA is a great fit for professionals that not only want to challenge themselves academically, but also want to develop their global mindset and perspective. The Global Online MBA program is like none other because it offers the opportunity to discover your strengths and aspirations as a professional and allows you to simultaneously apply learnings as you design your career,” said Karisa Kleuskens, Global Online MBA Class of 2018.
