Exploring sustainable urban mobility in Argentina

Exploring sustainable urban mobility in Argentina | IE School of Architecture & Design

Martha Thorne, Dean of IE University's School of Architecture and Design, took part in a live virtual event exploring the theme of sustainable urban mobility hosted by one of Argentina's most prestigious newspapers, La Nación.

The pandemic has accelerated how we think about getting around in the city, with a focus on environmentally friendly modes of transport and a move towards micro-mobility.

How will this paradigm shift impact new generations, urban planning and emerging trends? Martha Thorne joined several of the top thought leaders in Argentina, including CEOs from several important car manufacturers and airlines, entrepreneurs focused on sustainable mobility initiatives, representatives from national think-tanks, and officials from the Buenos Aires municipal government.

Movilidad: los desafíos de una era autónoma y sustentable (Mobility: the challenges of an independent and sustainable era) was broadcast on lanacion.com, Youtube Live, Facebook Live and via the TV station LN+.
