IE School of Architecture and Design, in SIMAPro to support the increasing relationship between real estate and the process of city making
IE School of Architecture and Design, is aware of the important relationship between real estate and the process of city making, and has signed an agreement with SIMA (Salón Inmobiliario Internacional Madrid), to promote its relevance for professionals in the real estate sector.
Moreover, this edition of SIMA, includes a forum for real estate investors, part of SIMApro: “Foro de Inversión en el Mercado Inmobiliario español 2017”: in which faculty of the new Master in Real Estate Development, such as Juan Velayos or Cristina García-Peri, participate.
The new master degree will be launched in October in Madrid, and is a one-year advanced degree aimed at understanding the breadth and depth of the development process. As urbanization, the digital revolution and concerns about global warming are increasing at an unprecedented pace and scale, students must be able to acquire up-to-date knowledge, use new and innovative tools, and acquire an integrated view of the factors involved in real estate processes in order to become leading professionals of the future. The course has a strong foundation in the economic, financial, strategic, and legal aspects of real estate development throughout the world.
IE School of Architecture and Design, one of five schools that comprise IE, seeks to redefine design education based on pedagogical and technological innovation, project-based learning and environmental responsibility, while bridging the traditional gaps between academia and the professional world to connect architecture and design with the broader society.
